For his performance at last week’s County Championship Meet, Owl cross-country runner Ken Haltom was named the Commercial Appeal's Player of the Week.
Haltom, a senior, ran a 16:41, winning the event at Shelby Farms by twelve seconds.
As a team, MUS finished fifth as they look to the region meet, held Thursday, October 26, at Shelby Farms.
Congratulations to Ken on his achievement, and good luck to Coach Tyler and the team as they head to the region meet.
