Seventh-grader, Harry Dunavant, took the floor today during assembly as he presented a fifteen minute presentation on his most recent Winter Term in Switzerland where he studied, worked, traveled, and skied from January until late March.
Harry brought to us a very clear and interesting presentation of how a Day in the Life looked for the students there, from his daily chores -- grooming the slopes on the snowcat -- to his weekly academic program to his travels in and around Switzerland and northern Italy. What a fabulous opportunity and experience!
Harry took with him his Third Quarter MUS assignments designed to keep him on track here, and he even began some Latin studies in advance of next year's Latin baptism. All in all, his quarter abroad offered a tremendous cultural exposure along side of his Winter Term classmates who hailed from both the US and around the world.
