A number of community service opportunities exist which the students can immediately help:
One, Cash for Philippine relief is being collected daily at lunch through the Civic Service Organization.
Two, hats and gloves are requested by a number of local agencies, and we are therefore collecting good hats and warm gloves. Join the effort, please. Advising Group with the most pairs (very important) of gloves and hats (singular items welcome) get a cool breakfast for their morning advising.
Third, we hope to gather as many sixth-twelve-grade used books in good condition, appropriate books on any subject for the Crosstown Arts Story Booth, and all are invited to visit online for a closer look. The effort is an Eagle Scout Project of MUS senior William Lamb. Advising Groups have a contest for this collection as well, so check the shelves at home, and bring daily to AG!
