We've received annual calls from reasonable parents with similar concerns, and after discussing the issue with the administrations of other schools, we think that as sponsors of a Middle School-age dance that we have a responsibility to promote a safe dance environment, free from the grind. This year's Saturday, January 14 Lower School Dance aims to respect the call for an evening free from the recent "grinding style" creeping onto school dance floors.
We hope that parents discuss the issue with their children. We will take time to explain to the boys what our expectations are for them as they act as hosts for both Hutchison School and St. Mary's School along with individual female guests that the boys will invite from other area schools.
